Built by Van Peer Boat Works and launched June, 1994 in Ft. Bragg, California, the Chasina Bay is a proven Alaska seaworthy vessel.  Designed by  world famous engineers at Jensen Maritime.

Other Specifications: 3,800 gallon potable water capacity. Satellite/cellular data and voice communication access,  modern marine electronics, sonar and PC based navigation system. 675sq. ft. back deck with a 12' by 12'  weather proof aluminum shelter.

About the Captain:  Harold Haynes is a 3rd generation Southeast Alaskan with who has been commercial fishing with his father since the he was old enough to 'grab a rope'  and pitch in. He also has over 20 years of experience as a civilian contractor providing support for US Navy acoustical research teams throughout the region. 

With Harold at the controls, the Chasina Bay navigates the Southeast Alaska Inside Passage with you right there sitting in the next chair over and taking in breathtaking sites through her panoramic windows in her spacious wheelhouse.  You will hear as you ride over the water unique stories and local tales told by an experienced hand who lives here 365 days a year and knows the territory.

The BBQ is sitting onboard ready to cook your freshly caught Alaska salmon, and the stage is set  the making of some wonderful memories. The Chasina Bay is not only the perfect boat for cruising and fishing, but the ideal platform for commercial services.

We have provided logistic support for Environmental work on Mines, Dump sites and LTF’s, also Acoustical support in Behm Canal.
