Whether you're a veteran Alaska fisherman with a hot spot already picked on the map, or a 'first timer' seeking to tap the endless bounty in the Last Frontier for the first time, you've come to the right place!
With the entire crew of Chasina Bay behind you all you need to worry about is keeping that line in the water and remembering where your cup of coffees is... We take care of everything else..
The team onboard backing you is a team of '365 days of the year' Alaska residents born and raised right here. They're loaded with a lifetime of local knowledge, and they wait for you at their private dock in Knudson Cove. (View our dock with Google Maps)
Since it is our own private dock that we operate from you simply walk onboard. No waiting in a line somewhere, no fuss. The vessel and crew will be waiting for you at the bottom of the walkway with top of the line equipment all tuned up and ready to go.
Speaking of the equipment, the Chasina Bay has a back deck that's is 23' wide. That's wider than the length of a full size pickup truck..! So, there's plenty of of room to move around and adjust the deck chairs etc.
Also, at 118 tons displacement the Chasina Bay, made of steel and designed by Jensen Maritime, is an exceptionally stable and extremely comfortable boat to fish aboard. Also, captain Harold Haynes has a USCG 200 Ton Master License.
How about putting a Kayak on the 4-wheelers and going into a remote inland Alaska lake or killer trout stream? Sound too good to be true? Well, it is true, and we do it. That's where the 23' wide back deck comes in.. 4-wheelers and all can go with you to the remote spot and deploy at your command..
Want to catch a massive King Salmon? We do that too. Right on our beachfront property they run up and down the shoreline in the spring eagerly seeking the lure of the hook on the end of your line. If you've never eaten a fresh salmon then prepare yourself. Words can't describe the experience.
Together we will design a memorable outing, and gladly cater to all your interests and needs. All activity takes place under permit by the U. S. Forest Service.
